DO's and DON'Ts: Cleaning Makeup Brushes

Let's talk about the Do's and Don'ts of cleaning makeup brushes!

DO's:

  • DO WASH YOUR BRUSHES ONCE A WEEK. We recommend washing your brushes often to ensure your brush performs at its best.
  • DO USE AN ANITBACTERIAL SOAP. This helps keep up the Hudani sanitary standard for brushes, no more bacteria build up and break outs because of your brushes!

DON'Ts:

  • DO NOT SOAK YOUR BRUSHES. The handles of Hudani Beauty Brushes are wood. When wood soaks in water it expands and BREAKS apart.
  • DO NOT SOAK YOUR BRISTLES IN WATER UPSIDE DOWN. Soaking your bristles in water can loosen up the glue holding the bristles together in the ferrule.
  • DO NOT REGULARLY USE CINEMA SECRETS FOR BRUSH CLEANING. If you choose to use this product, put a small amount on a paper towel and clean your brush this way. This formula WILL destroy your brush if you over saturate your brush in the product. It is a very strong formula and will loosen the glue holding the bristles together.
